Your expertise in mechanical assembly, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and blueprint interpretation will be key to delivering high-quality automation solutions through all phases of the machine build. Innovation Hubs: Access to state-of-the-art facilities and innovation hubs that foster What You’ll Be Doing: • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, BOMs, and schematics • Fit and sub-assemble mechanical components according to design • Machine or fabricate metal parts and integrate pneumatic/hydraulic systems • Coordinate with Electricians and Programmers to support their build requirements • Conduct test runs and ensure equipment meets design specifications • Participate in debug, integration, and acceptance testing at customer sites • Document inspections and maintain clean, organized workspaces • Recommend design changes for improved manufacturability and maintenance • Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and fixed gauges • Assist in training customer personnel on safe equipment use What We’re Looking For: • 5 years of experience in automation, machine assembly, or millwright work • Proven skills in mechanical assembly and basic machining • Ability to read blueprints and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics • Familiarity with rigging and lifting techniques • High attention to detail and mechanical aptitude • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels • Willingness to travel and work overtime, including weekends, when required • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement Bonus Points If You Have: • Participation in continuous improvement or design feedback initiatives • Experience working under ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001 standards • Skills in both Imperial and Metric measurements • History of working in cross-functional build teams How to Apply: Apply online at www.johnsonelectric.com – We can’t wait to meet you!
