What’s the role? As a Sales Coordinator, you get to work with an astonishing team that plays a vital role in Carl Zeiss Canada Limited.. Show case your skills and experience with process enhancement. Here’s what you’ll do: Working primarily in our fast-paced Medical Technology Service team, you will be the contact for our customers located across Canada requiring service on their medical instruments. You will take their requests by phone or email and collect all necessary information to support them by opening service orders, processing sales orders, or directing them to our technical support team for assistance. You will also support our team of in-house and field service specialists by answering inquiries about parts inventory and logistics, expediting parts orders, and closing completed service orders. Promptly answer incoming customer phone and email enquiries in English and French. Open service orders in our CRM system and dispatch to the appropriate In-house or Field Service Specialist based on skills, location, and availability. Process service relates sales orders. Monitor inventory levels of stocked parts. Support our service engineers with their parts inventory management. Close completed service orders and ensure proper billing takes place. Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives. Provide back-up to the Sales Coordinators as needed. Other duties as required. Do you qualify? Previous working experience in customer service, preferably in a technical environment. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French. Must be highly organized, be able to prioritize and manage time effectively. Working knowledge in MS Office applications Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. Experience working in an SAP system would be preferrable. Solid communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work closely with other departments. A post-secondary diploma or degree in business or a technical discipline would be preferrable.
