About The Job The Red Hat Commercial Services organization is adding an extremely organized and detail--oriented Associate Project Manager in the Telco vertical. In this role, you will manage low complexity projects to successful completion, from initiation through delivery and closure. Additionally, you will support senior-level Project Managers and Services Managers as needed on higher complexity projects. This role requires excellent coordination of cross-functional teams to bring distinct projects to completion both on time and within budget. Applicants can reside anywhere within the U.S. or Canada. What You Will Do • Accurately maintain all processes, approvals, and system tools related to specific projects • Manage multiple projects simultaneously • Financial tracking of project expenditures • Monitor and track open customer cases • Facilitate project logistics and resource scheduling • Support and execute administration tasks to include timely collection and approval of time and expenses • Collate all relevant project documentation like milestone acceptances, sprint burn-down charts, and ensure upload to the appropriate repository • Support and administer project analysis and status reporting • Support Services Managers and Project Managers with the following: > Coordinate cross-functional team meetings > Develop and effectively present and communicate project collateral > Coordinate with Resource Management Office to manage project staffing requirements > Develop foundational knowledge of Red Hat’s Services Global Project Management Framework and Agile/Scrum methodologies > Act as a liaison between the consulting team and the project accounting team > Provide accurate revenue forecasting through timely and accurate Salesforce updates > Support accounting activities as required to include obtaining copies of receipts for finance invoicing queries > Support Operation team in procuring subcontractors when necessary What You Will Bring • Project or program management experience • Excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills • An understanding of project management concepts and working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies • Outstanding communication skills to engage management and decision makers at any level • Experience with stakeholder management and building relationships • Awareness of organizational change management practices • Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability • Ability to collaborate with a diverse, global, cross-functional team • An understanding of software development lifecycles • Experience in an agile environment • Familiarity with open source software and open source as a business model • Knowledge of Red Hat's product portfolio and subscription business model • BS/BA or equivalent experience required • Project management certifications are a plus Experience in the Telecom sector a plus #LI-DNI The salary range for this position is $84,400.00 - $134,970.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications. Pay Transparency Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
