This is a Hybrid position with the expectation to be in the office up to 3 times a week. Reporting to the Chief Compliance Manager, the Compliance Analyst will be responsible for performing daily review, verification, and follow-up tasks to ensure that their portfolio of residences complies with internal policies and procedures. They will work closely with various teams to identify, assess, and mitigate non-compliance risks. In collaboration with the Chief Compliance Officer, the analyst will participate in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures. Main Responsibilities: Identify, define, and evaluate existing internal controls to meet certification objectives for their portfolio of residences. Support and collaborate with stakeholders in various operational activities to ensure the SOX program is executed according to the company's plan. Assess the severity of deficiencies, identify root causes, and formulate clear and practical recommendations to ensure prompt remediation. Collaborate with various teams to implement corrective and preventive measures. Develop and maintain strong relationships with control managers and external auditors. Provide compliance advice and expertise to internal stakeholders. Participate in internal training on Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements. Perform any other related tasks. Ideal Candidate: Dynamic, meticulous, rigorous, proactive, and organized. Ability to work independently with a high level of autonomy while ensuring deadlines are met. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Natural curiosity to better understand challenges and opportunities encountered. High sense of professionalism, integrity, and ethics. Travels: 10% annually. Bilingual (French is an aset) Required Qualifications: Blingual (English and French) is an asset Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA is an asset). Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or accounting. Experience with SOX controls (an asset). Good knowledge of the MS Office suite.
