Join our Agro Division as an Agro Operations I team member at our Innisfail location! We’re looking for a motivated individual who’s ready to support day-to-day operations, assist with fleet and equipment upkeep, and contribute to a positive customer experience both on site and on the road.
Position: Agro Operations I
Full-time: 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
Availability: Weekdays
Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service.
Ensure that all equipment is operated in a safe and responsible manner and complete training for such equipment when required.
Be aware of all commodities sold at the location and support the sales team as needed.
Provide input for improving processes and procedures that could be made to the operations.
Be familiar with and adhere to Central Alberta Co-op policies and procedures.
Operate and assist in maintenance of equipment used in the movement of the agro products.
Be knowledgeable in the fertilizer plant operation including blending, unloading and loading customers.
Provide guidance to operations summer students as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma is preferred.
Class 5 driver’s license is required.
Class 3 driver’s license is preferred.
Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire.
Completion of TDG and WHMIS in the first months of employment is a requirement.
Mechanical knowledge is mandatory.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
