What you will do You will be responsible for the direct management and handling of all raw and finished goods inventory and all warehousing functions. This role ensures the accountability of all physical materials and adherence to legislative, safety, and organizational policies and procedures, and you will achieve effective inventory oversight through strong leadership and decision-making skills. How you will do it Manage and oversee the handling of all raw and finished goods inventory. Supervise all warehousing functions, ensuring efficient and effective operations. Ensure accountability for all physical materials within the organization. Enforce adherence to legislative, safety, and organizational policies and procedures. Lead and develop the materials management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Supervise the team including hiring decisions, delegation, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions. Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate records and efficient operations. Effectively lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory counts along with reconciliations. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless material flow and support production schedules. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs. Prepare and present reports on inventory status, discrepancies, and other relevant metrics to senior management. Perform other duties as required.
