Environment, Health & Safety Manager Company: Boeing Canada Operations Ltd Boeing Canada Winnipeg is seeking an Environment, Health, and Safety Manager (EHS), reporting to the Director of Facilities, EHS & IT, working out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba office. As the EHS Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive safety & environmental programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization. This role requires a strong background in environmental, health, and safety management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement. Position Responsibilities: First line leadership support and leadership that integrates employee activities across environmental, occupational, health and safety disciplines Activities managed include the planning and implementation of environmental, occupational health and safety, ergonomic, disability management and industrial athlete programs and maturing the safety culture through incident and injury free (IIF) Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Manages, develops and motivates employees This position is expected to be 100% onsite at our Winnipeg, Manitoba site. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) 1+ years of experience demonstrating people management skills to include coaching, teaching, mentoring Experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions Experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions Must be legally able to work in Canada Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Managerial experience, directly managing a team Post secondary education Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials is advantageous. This includes understanding the potential hazards associated with various manufacturing operations and the ability to recommend appropriate safety measures Proven track record of successfully implementing and maintaining compliance with Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health, Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba (WCB), OSHA, FAA, and other relevant regulatory standards, ensuring a safe working environment for employees and adherence to environmental protection guidelines CRSP designation (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) Other relevant professional designations Shift: This position will be for first shift but might be required to come in for all shifts from time to time.
