Every year, BDC offers jobs to college/university students as well as recent graduates. The program aims to provide job experience in an exceptional work environment. The participant will be able to deepen his knowledge and validate his interest within the Solutions Architecture team by having the opportunity to work with experienced IT architects. On a daily basis the intern will: Participate in the creation and measurement of the KPI for the team. Help develop an application to automate the creation of dashboards related to the Solution Architecture (SA) and Enterprise Architecture (EA) team activities. Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering and process analysis across departments Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation Work with lead solution and enterprise architects in the creation of solution architecture artefacts related to infrastructure (network, servers, security), data, integration patterns (ex. APIs), development (ex. Microservices), Domain -Driven Design (DDD), enterprise applications (ex. ERP, Workday) Participate in renewal of multiple RFPs for existing or future suppliers. Assist in evaluation of new technologies and participate in Proof of Concept projects. Act as a PCO by coordinating the team’s projects. Contribute to the implementation of an Enterprise Architecture tool. Support the Architecture team with a variety of tasks. What You'll Need to Get the Job Done Currently pursuing or finished a bachelor’s degree and are going into your senior year this fall Knowledge of COTS (Commercial of the Shelf) concepts and technologies. Familiarity with software development especially in a client facing applications. Familiarity in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar tools Basics of networking concepts and protocols Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus An ambitious desire to dive into the work through curiosity and an eagerness to learn Excellent organizational and communication skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities If you answer YES to the following questions, you might be the ideal candidate!
