Senior Specialist, Mental Health & Addictions COE Join Ontario Health as a Senior Specialist in the Mental Health & Addictions Centre of Excellence (COE) and be a key member of the team that leads the design and implementation of clinical and system strategies, plans, and policies. In this exciting role, you will contribute your subject matter knowledge, experience, and insight to enhance the mental well-being of Ontarians. Here is what you will be doing: Project Management: Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of internal business processes. Demonstrated successful project management and change management experience. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to advance quality agendas. Organize and coordinate meetings for various internal and external stakeholders. Analysis: Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, including systematic literature reviews. Monitor evidence and conduct jurisdictional scans to understand best practices Mentorship: Supervise and mentor team members, providing performance feedback and escalating issues to management when necessary Here is what you will need to be successful: Education: Master’s degree preferred or Undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline (clinical epidemiology, health services research, business/health administration, Sciences) or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience: Required 5 years of experience, healthcare sector experience is an asset Knowledge of Communities of Practice (clinical) concept, performance, evaluation, indicator development, and/or performance measurement Knowledge of the Ontario health and social services system, project management, best practices in quality improvement and performance management are preferred Experience leading/enabling small to medium-scale strategic projects preferably related to the mental health and addictions field. Demonstrated successful project management and change management experience. Experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis including systematic literature reviews. Experience partnering with internal and external stakeholders to advance quality agendas. Knowledge and Skills: Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, including developing policies, broad communications, knowledge transfer tools, and project materials. Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders to establish trust, credibility, and respect. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Technical Proficiency: Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint). Strategy and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and interpret complex information to deliver solutions that meet program needs.
