Position Summary: Assist with the development & implementation of academic programs in nutrition and agri-foods for partnering institutions in Ghana, support short-term & postdoctoral training of Ghanaians at McGill, and monitor & report on FAES program activities.Supervise junior staff; support course delivery in Ghana; facilitate trainee selection competitions; support and monitor training of Ghanaian scholars at McGill; support team collaboration; assist with narrative and financial reports and dissemination. Qualifications: Has obtained a doctorate or equivalent in a relevant discipline Demonstrated experience in mentoring in a relevant discipline Demonstrated experience of successful partnership development and collaboration Relevant hands-on experience in related field in Sub-Saharan Africa, preferably in Ghana Other qualifying skills and/or abilities: Ability to work as part of a highly collaborative team across different units Ability to work autonomously and to meet deadlines Ability to develop strategic capacity building and research collaborations Knowledge and abilities in basic computer skills Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Fluency in English is essential; a working knowledge of French is preferred Experience in university teaching is an asset Before applying, please note that to work at McGill University, you must be both authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
