What you will do Operating at a journeyperson level, performs a variety of complex services in specialized building system areas such as mechanical, electrical, HVAC and Refrigeration including maintenance, repair, and operation. How you will do it Performs a variety of mechanical, electrical and refrigeration service work including PM and Repair, for a dedicated key customer between 2 sites. Plans, selects, and lays out required materials for service and repair work. Works from drawings, schematics, blueprints, job layouts or verbal instructions and operates a variety of tools and machines incidental to operations. Requisitions new supplies and equipment to maintain customers equipment. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Perform other duties as required as per Customer SOW Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards. Supervise and inspect the installation of equipment to meet customer expectations and manufacturer specifications. Provide specific solutions and recommendations to customers on the most efficient and cost-effective method. Customer satisfaction through coordination, response to customer requests and problems Prepare reports on daily activities and ensure all daily logs are kept for the customer. Report any concerns to the customer through email on the same day. May be required to work overtime Capable of working in cramped workspaces such as ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. Complete mileage, expense and monthly vehicle reports in a timely manner What we look for Required Must be certified Journeyperson with Refrigeration A/C qualification with Five or more years’ experience in the HVAC/R service field. Must have CFC Handling Certification. Requires in-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs. Must possess a valid driver's license and will be required to pass a background check. Requires in-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs. Shifts are 5 days a week. 8-hour days. Statutory Holidays are non-workdays Ability to effectively work independently Demonstrated high level of customer service Able to carry and move equipment/tools weighing up to 40 pounds Comfortable working in an environment that may involve climbing ladders and scaffoldings with equipment, upwards to forty (40) feet Ability to use hand and power tools and test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, digital analyzers, battery analyzers, frequency meters, decibel meters and communication devices as required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to read and understand complex building architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents, as well as project plans, specifications, schedules, and equipment installation/operation/troubleshooting manual.
