CoreFactor is searching for a Desk Side Support Analyst on a contract basis for a client in the west end of the GTA.
This position is onsite and requires travel between office locations in MIssissauga and Brampton.
The role:
Process minor incidents and hardware requests
Primarily hardware/software for new hires, peripheral requests, replacing/re-imaging broken/malfunctioning PCs
Coordinating warranty repairs for malfunctioning PC hardware
Assisting with hardware returns
Helping with processing our PC return tracker and follows ups
Shipping and receiving of IS Client assets
Mailroom runs and updating returned equipment in our various tracking systems
Packing of PCs and/or peripherals
Some heavy lifting required at times moving boxes (which may contain several desktop PCs) and hardware
“White glove” service
Strong organizational skills
Need to multi-task effectively managing multiple incidents/requests as well as administrative tasks (asset updates/returns, ticket logs, etc.)
Strong interpersonal skills
Need to interact with internal customers regularly communicating updates, coordinating equipment shipments, coordinating warranty services between internal customer and external vendors
Coordination with team members to manage inventories and physical resources
Intermediate troubleshooting skills
Enough to cover common PC fundamentals
Coordinate more in depth issues with senior team members
Familiar and comfortable with PC (Desktop and laptop) internals
Comfortable with replacing minor components such as HD, RAM, internal batteries, and laptop screens
Familiar with Microsoft Active Directory and SCCM/Endpoint Manager or similar
Enough to know how to enable and move objects within AD, and use SCCM/EM collections to deploy software and image PCs.
