Rust Developer
About the project:
A well established multi-national tech enterprise that provides communication and collaboration services in the cloud.
You will be involved in the design and implementation of a Kubernetes Hybrid Cloud and Rust based microservices stack.
Advance Technical and Professional Expertise skills:
Demonstrated Rust experience in a commercial project (real apps)
Backend Rust developer experience (warp/axum, tokio/tonic/reqwest, serde)
Fully understand the Rust ecosystem (cargo clippy, rust-analyzer, cargo deny check)
Understand data conversation from REST API1 to REST API2 (parsing, converting, aggregating data, serde)
Understand to write unit and integration tests.
Startup knowledge (write code and run it production with a CI/CD pipeline)
Experienced with Remote Work (pair programming, slack, JIRA)
DevOps mindset, IaC knowledge
Working with legacy APIs
Fluent English (C2)
Stack:
Preferable to have experience with: grpc, protobuf
Preferable to have experience with: kubernetes, couchdb, postgres
Linux or MacOs OS only (recent hardware), no Windows
Additional information:
Willing to work 5 days/week and 8 hours per day with core working hours of 10:00 – 16:00 UK time.
Stable Internet connection for Video Calls and pair programming
Contract will be minimum of 6 months with possibility of extension.
Willing to attend daily and weekly meetings with the team.
Possibility to start immediately and work only remote.
