IT Business Analyst – IT Enterprise Solutions Vancouver, BC / Calgary, AB / Toronto, ON Role Description This role takes full responsibility for business analysis where the advice given, and decisions made will have a measurable impact on the profitability or effectiveness of the organization. The IT Business Analyst, Enterprise Solutions will help to maximize the performance of the organization through the implementation of leading-edge tools and processes, particularly within the Self-Storage business vertical. This will include analyzing user requirements, processes, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review capabilities, workflows, and process limitations. Responsibilities Plans and drives scoping, requirements definition and prioritization activities for enhancements and projects. Collaborates with stakeholders at all levels, in the conduct of investigations for business requirements specifications, feasibility studies, and business cases preparation. Challenges initiatives with business value in mind. Lead and/or assist with the creation of business cases, ROIs, and other project related documentation, as required, with input from key business stakeholders Create, execute, and document test cases/test scripts to validate system changes, and provide framework to support end user acceptance testing Support the day-to-day operations of the Self-Storage portfolio Coordinate, support and help business users resolve escalated support issues including application software and operational systems when necessary Engages proactively and collaboratively with suppliers to resolve incidents, problems, or unsatisfactory performance. Implements supplier management-related service improvement initiatives and programs. Investigate and analyze opportunities to help improve business efficiencies and maximize use of QuadReal’s Enterprise Applications Creates and fosters a “customer centric” culture in all team interactions. Assist with creating training materials and conducting training sessions Facilitate new onboarding and offboarding of the Self-Storage assets and support the growth of the portfolio overall Maintain and help troubleshoot the current software and assist with the implementation of any new systems/software required in the future Oversees various projects related to Self-Storage Other duties and responsibilities as required Experience and Qualifications A minimum of 4 years experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, ideally in a complex real estate services environment Experience in analysis, troubleshooting, and support of multiple enterprise applications Experience with SiteLink, StorLogix and other Self-Storage applications would be an asset Experience with Yardi is a nice to have Understanding of the Self Storage business and key business processes Detail oriented with superior documentation skills Excels at problem-solving and customer relationships Proven ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships at all levels of an organization Exceptional communications skills Strong facilitation and collaboration skills Ability to apply practical business analysis and project management best practices Familiar with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies and best practices Change management experience an asset Process re-engineering experience an asset Adaptable to constant change Ability to allocate one's time effectively, work under pressure and manage tight deadlines, multiple demands, projects and competing priorities. Ability to travel occasionally The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $80,000-95,0000. The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, the market compensation of the role, and the consideration to internal equity.
