Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Cisco Software Success Specialist to join our Cisco Practice at Ingram Micro. In this role, you will guide and support our reseller partners in driving Cisco software adoption, maximizing the value of Cisco recurring offers, and implementing Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) best practices across their customer base. You will work closely with Cisco, Ingram Micro sales teams, and partners to drive renewals, software upsell/cross-sell motions, and ensure partners are well-equipped to support their customers’ digital transformation journeys. Key Responsibilities: Act as a subject matter expert on Cisco software offers, licensing models (EA, SaaS, A-La-Carte), and lifecycle motions (Adopt, Expand, Renew). Educate and enable channel partners on Cisco Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Lifecycle Incentives (LCI). Guide partners in the use of Cisco tools (Success Tracks, Lifecycle Advantage, PX Cloud, and My Cisco Entitlements). Drive adoption of recurring Cisco offers (e.g., SecureX, DNA Advantage, Webex, Meraki subscriptions). Support partners with best practices to optimize customer success, software utilization, and license renewals. Monitor key lifecycle KPIs (health scores, usage metrics, success milestones) and support corrective action planning. Collaborate with Ingram Micro’s sales, renewals, and technical teams to identify lifecycle expansion opportunities. Help partners leverage co-branded adoption journeys and digital engagement tools provided by Cisco. Travel up to 25% within North America. What you bring to the role: 3+ years of experience in IT channel, software lifecycle, or customer success roles (preferably with Cisco or a Cisco partner). Strong knowledge of Cisco software offers, Smart Accounts, DNA licensing, Enterprise Agreements (EAs), and CX platforms. Understanding of Cisco CLM framework and partner lifecycle incentive programs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to guide and influence partners and internal stakeholders. Experience using or supporting Cisco tools such as Lifecycle Advantage, CX Cloud, or PX Cloud is highly desirable. Cisco certifications (Cisco Customer Success Manager, Cisco Business Architecture Specialist, or similar) are a plus. Preferred Attributes: Experience in a customer success, renewals, or lifecycle management role at a Cisco distributor, partner, or service provider. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret customer adoption data and usage trends. Ability to simplify complex licensing and lifecycle concepts for partners.
