The site services 1,000 to 2,000 covers daily across plated dining, buffets, a bistro, and catering. You will lead a well-established team with a focus on culinary excellence, menu innovation, and consistency.Menu development is central to this role. You’ll oversee 3–4 active menus at a time, with seasonal updates three to four times a year, as well as frequent theme days and plated events. Quality, presentation, and consistency must remain exceptional across all service points.Key Responsibilities:Lead all culinary operations across multiple units and business lines, ensuring service excellence and consistencyCreate, standardize, and update menus regularly to meet evolving client needs, including monthly changes and themed eventsOversee production, planning, procurement, food costing, inventory management, and waste reductionCollaborate closely with the client and internal conference team to tailor menus and experiences for events, daily service, and dietary needsEnsure exceptional food presentation, with consistent execution across all touchpointsCoach, develop, and supervise culinary teams, maintaining a culture of quality, accountability, and innovationPromote Sodexo’s sustainability and inclusion goals through sourcing, plant-based offerings, and allergen-aware designEnsure full compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and Sodexo’s policiesQualificationsWhat You’ll Need to Succeed:Red Seal CertificationMinimum 5 years’ experience in a senior culinary leadership role within a multi-unit or high-volume environmentDemonstrated expertise in menu development across formats (plated, buffet, catering), with a track record of consistency and qualityAbility to manage and organize a high number of active menus and evolve offerings on a monthly basisDeep understanding of food costing, standardization, presentation, and quality assuranceProven experience collaborating with clients and stakeholders on menu design and service planningStrong leadership, time management, and interpersonal skillsProficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with culinary management or ordering systems is an assetPassion for culinary innovation, guest experience, and team developmentAdditional InformationWhat Makes Sodexo Different: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater because we believe our everyday actions have a big impact.
