About the Role
The Financial Analyst provides advice, consultation, and assistance to senior managers, staff and other key stakeholders in support of financial and budget planning, internal and external reporting, and general accounting decision-making. This position is a key business partner and performs as the senior financial expert within the service unit.

Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or relevant discipline and a professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA) and four years of related experience, including experience in financial management, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Experience with creating financial tools (e.g., templates and dashboards) for budgeting and decision-making.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel for financial modeling, analysis, and reporting
• Excellent organizational, quantitative, analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Excellent financial analysis, budget planning, and financial management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to resolve complex financial issues and provide strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting financial data and analysis to various stakeholders.
