Job Posting: School Bus Driver
Location: Queen Margaret’s School – Duncan, BC
Position Type: On-Call (Potential for Permanent Part-Time)
Queen Margaret’s School is seeking responsible and safety-minded individuals to join our Transportation team as School Bus Drivers. This position is on-call with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent part-time role based on school needs and staffing levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and events.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers at all times.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain a clean and orderly bus.
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents when necessary.
Qualifications:
Valid Class 2 BC Driver’s License (Air Brake Endorsement not required).
Clear driver’s abstract and criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
Reliable and punctual with strong interpersonal skills.
First Aid certification is an asset but not mandatory.
Previous experience driving a bus or working with children is an asset.
Schedule & Availability:
On-call basis; hours vary depending on school transportation needs.
May evolve into a permanent part-time position.
