Under the direction of the Branch Manager, the incumbent assists with the daily operations of the branch and ensures rental equipment is available for orders. Please note that our branch will be moving to Saint-Hyacinthe shortly. This role will be based out of the new Saint-Hyacinthe location. Responsabilités principales Maintient un environnement de travail sécuritaire en suivant les directives d'Airgas/Red-D-Arc en matière de santé et de sécurité. Fournit un excellent service à la clientèle à tous les comptes. Assure le suivi des prospects envoyés dans la région via le Web, les associations, etc. Assure un suivi rapide des demandes des clients. Veille à ce que les clients qui se présentent spontanément soient pris en charge rapidement, y compris pour les retours d'équipement. Traite les paiements par carte de crédit. Communique quotidiennement avec le représentant commercial externe au sujet des demandes de renseignements et/ou des commandes reçues. Prépare les devis pour les ventes externes et les envoie par fax aux clients selon les besoins. Coordonne les besoins en équipement pour assurer l'exécution efficace des commandes et la maîtrise des coûts. Planifie et dirige les commandes des clients avec le service après-vente. Communique avec le service après-vente et/ou le responsable de l'atelier concernant les expéditions d'équipements et organise les commandes pour l'expédition. Assure la bonne génération des contrats de location et des documents associés. Organise le transfert de marchandises et le transport. Aide à l'achat auprès des fournisseurs. Aide à la gestion des stocks de pièces et d'équipements. Effectue d'autres tâches connexes selon les besoins. Key Responsibilites Maintains a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc’s health and safety guidelines. Provides excellent customer service to all accounts. Provides follow-up to leads that are sent to the area via Web, Associations, etc. Provides timely follow-up to customer’s requests. Ensures walk in customers are handled in a timely manner including equipment returns. Processes credit card charges. Communicates daily with Outside Sales Associate on inquiries and/or orders received. Prepares quotes for outside sales and fax to clients are required. Coordinates equipment requirements for efficient order fulfillment and cost containment Plans and directs customer orders with the service deparment Communicates with the service department and/or shop supervisor in regards to equipment shipments and arranges orders for shipment. Ensures proper generation of rental agreements and associated documents. Arranges freight and transportation. Assists with vendor purchasing. Assists with parts and equipment inventories. Compétences et aptitudes: Souci du détail et solides compétences organisationnelles. Capacité à établir efficacement des relations avec les clients et les collègues. Une expérience dans la vente d'équipements industriels ou dans la vente ou la location d'équipements de soudage (idéalement dans les secteurs de la construction, de la fabrication et/ou de la production) est un atout. Capacité à mener plusieurs tâches de front et à travailler de manière autonome avec peu de supervision. Capacité à travailler dans un environnement dynamique au sein d'une équipe. Capacité à prendre des décisions critiques tout en respectant les procédures de l'entreprise. Capacité à agir de manière proactive ou à trouver une solution aux problèmes liés au travail. Sales experience in either an industrial equipment rental or a welding equipment sales or rental environment (ideally construction, fabrication, and/or manufacturing sectors) an asset. Ability to act proactively or find a solution with work-related problems. Adaptable to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions.
