Senior IT Project Manager – GenAI / AI Initiatives
Lead AI-driven transformation projects in the insurance industry with a focus on GenAI and Agile delivery. This hybrid role (3 days on-site in Toronto) requires strong project management skills, technical understanding of AI/data, and cross-functional team leadership in a fast-paced IT environment

Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects focused on GenAI and digital transformation.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and business teams to define scope and deliverables.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with data privacy, compliance, and ethical AI practices.
• Drive delivery of projects on time and within budget while adapting to shifting priorities.
• Translate technical issues into business terms for non-technical audiences.
What you will need to succeed:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP);
• Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP);
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM);
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM);
• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM); or
• Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager in Agile environments.
• Hands-on experience managing GenAI, data, or AI-related initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery models.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning fundamentals, data privacy, and quality standards.
• Proficient with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or MS Project.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and team coordination abilities.
• Ability to handle pressure, prioritize tasks, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
