As part of one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the successful execution of projects by delivering accurate forecasting, scheduling, cost control, and progress reporting.This role is ideal for a project controls professional with a strong understanding of project lifecycles, keen analytical skills, and a commitment to optimizing performance in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. If you're passionate about driving efficiency, ensuring project alignment, and delivering actionable insights, apply now!What we offer:Excellent benefits and matching pension contribution starting on your first day!Monday to Friday schedule, working 40 hours per weekVariety: changing work scopes from one day to the next – there is always a new challengeJoin a team that values collaboration, supports each other, and works together to keep things moving forward!Key Duties & Responsibilities: Track project lifecycle full cycle, from bid, through execution and final billing and close out.Assist with the development of preliminary estimates, budgets, schedule scope change and resource requirementsWork directly with operational teams and, provide support in project control related areas including cost, construction progress, schedule compliance, and other costs.Supports the team in continuous improvement initiatives and trackingProvide regular reports for project progress and contract performanceMonitors projects for contract performance with support from the Business Services team.Assist with the implementation and progressing of Client's Project Control initiativesUse spreadsheets and scheduling tools to track progress across multiple projects.Use data such as timesheets, material costs, contractor costs and indirect costs to accurately track spend per project against budget.Works closely with finance for budget reporting and monthly forecast requirements.Other duties as assigned Role Specifications:Minimum of 3 years’ of project controls experience with cost and schedule controlKnowledge of project controls principles, theories, concepts, practices, processes, expectations along change management theories and processes is considered an asset.Experience in the Mechanical Services or construction IndustryProven ability to control costs across multiple projects for +10M annual budgetVersed in the MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel) and PowerBi.Able to provide a negative result on pre-employment drug and alcohol testValid Class 5 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is requiredPersonal Characteristics:You thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments and see shifting priorities as a chance to lead and make an impact.You bring confident, clear communication—both written and verbal—and know how to connect across all levels of the organization and with external partners.You take pride in staying organized, managing your time like a pro, and delivering results under pressure and tight deadlines.You have a sharp eye for detail and the ability to understand and interpret complex technical documents, procedures, and work orders.You lead by example, showing up every day with professionalism, accountability, and a strong alignment with company values.You can clearly communicate the business vision and strategy, inspiring both internal teams and external stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
