Description
This candidate will be responsible for Attendance Management for all 3 locations (North and South plant in Cambridge, West plant in Woodstock). They will be managing all attendance policies, roles and corrective actions with the Group Leaders, including management of PDPM (Policy Development and Performance Management) with the attendance management system.
Candidates are responsible for:
- coach and counsel supervision on attendance management policies and procedures
-manage attendance audit system to ensure compliance and consistent application of policies
-liaise with Health Center on excessive absenteeism, STD/LTD, chronic cases and 5 day letter process
-support complex case meetings
-support government inquiries and external legal proceedings related to attendance
-support investigations as part of PDPM investigation team
TYPICAL DAY:
- Liaise with Group Leaders
- Review PFS (Problem Followup sheets) which outline any issues the group leader is having with a team member. Will review and process it into the system, outline corrective actions, etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
MUST HAVE 1: Post secondary education with emphasis/major in Human Resources, (Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or related discipline)
MUST HAVE 2: Strong computer skills - Experience working with Excel, data entry. Ability to create pivot tables, macros, etc. would be an asset.
MUST HAVE 3: Strong Administration and organizational skills - will be organizing internal data and systems with updated Attendance, behaviour & conduct, etc.
MUST HAVE 4: knowledge of government legislation/regulations (Employment standards act, Human rights code) - Knowledge from schooling is ok.
NICE TO HAVE 1: Strong communication skills - both written and verbal. Working very closely with TMMC team members as this is a very consultative role
NICE TO HAVE 2: Attendance auditing system experience
NICE TO HAVE 3: Experience working with PeopleSoft, Kronos, Workday systems
