Job Summary:
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a strategic role with business leaders on a global scale. You will be responsible for providing proactive HR advice tailored to operational realities, while contributing to the alignment of HR strategies with overall business objectives. You will also oversee a small team of two HR professionals. You will act as a liaison between specialized HR teams (Centers of Expertise) and business units.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a strategic HR partner to managers and business leaders across multiple global regions.
Actively participate in the development and evolution of the global HR strategy, considering regional and cultural realities.
Ensure HR practices comply with local and international laws.
Analyze HR trends and recommend concrete actions to improve organizational outcomes.
Develop a data-driven approach to talent management by tracking key indicators and proposing data-based interventions.
Support teams through organizational transformations by recommending change management strategies aligned with business realities.
Collaborate closely with HR team members (total rewards, talent acquisition, etc.) to ensure consistent and integrated service delivery.
Implement programs for identifying, developing, and retaining talent, while ensuring succession planning for critical roles.
Support and coach managers to strengthen their leadership, engagement, and team management skills.
Ensure sound labor relations management for both unionized and non-unionized employees, providing strategic oversight.
Manage complex disability cases in partnership with managers.
Profile :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is an asset).
Strong knowledge of labor laws. International knowledge is an asset.
Minimum of 10 years of HR experience as an HR Business Partner.
Experience in an international environment is an asset.
Experience in team management or functional supervision.
Excellent ability to influence, build trust, and navigate complex environments.
Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
Strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, and change management.
Pragmatic and results-oriented approach, capable of moving from strategy to action when needed.
