Role Overview
Join our dynamic team at Metergy as a Coordinator, People and Organization! You'll play a crucial role in supporting our People and Recruitment teams, enhancing the team member experience, and maintaining the integrity of our HRIS system and data. We're looking for a self-starter with a passion for leveraging technology to make our processes smarter, faster, and better. This position is hybrid and requires 3-4 days in the office at our Markham location (Warden/407).

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and respond to incoming team member requests, including data changes, letters, and reports.
Support our Business Partners, People and Organization, with a range of people-related activities and transactions, such as new hire pre-boarding, onboarding, benefits, training, leaves of absence, return-to-work, and exits.
Maintain the quality and accuracy of data across our HR systems. Collaborate with our Business Partners and the Payroll team to leverage data from various systems (e.g., Dayforce, ADP Total Source, Lever, MS Lists, Loop sites).
Collect and compile HR metrics and data from multiple sources. Analyze and submit HR data for reporting and compliance requirements.
Support the Recruitment function by managing select searches and assisting with candidate screenings.
Interface with third-party partners and service providers, including software vendors, insurance carriers, and training providers.
Support group benefits enrolment and day to day administration.
Offer support to Finance and People initiatives. Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to both teams.
Maintain and update documentation regarding People workflows, processes, and controls.
Collaborate with the People and Organization team to identify and implement process improvements across a range of programs and activities.
Support team initiatives and events that foster a positive work environment and inclusive culture.
Identify areas where People processes or team member initiatives can be enhanced based on data insights.
Experience & Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field. Obtaining or working towards your CHRP designation is considered a plus.
1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a People or Recruitment team, where you were accountable for handling and maintaining the integrity of sensitive data as well as providing support on a large volume of key People activities.
Highly organized with excellent time management skills – you meet date-driven timelines in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Laser-focused attention to detail. Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion is a must.
Adept ability to uncover data issues and implement corrective actions.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Continuous improvement mindset combined with a strong technical skill set – proficiency in Microsoft products with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint, and productivity tools like MS Lists, Loop.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
