The Client Director is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving client success, leading complex engagements, and growing Spaulding Ridge’s Data Solutions business. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of transformative data programs. The role also includes accountability for project profitability, team development, and business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead client engagements from discovery through delivery, serving as the primary point of contact and strategic advisor across multiple workstreams
Coordinate and direct project teams through the delivery of data analytics platforms, customer 360 implementations, data warehousing enhancements, reporting modernization efforts, and enterprise-scale data integration initiatives
Spearhead client projects focused on developing data-driven business insights, predictive modeling solutions, and AI-driven analytics to enhance client business outcomes
Oversee project delivery to ensure high-quality execution, client satisfaction, and achievement of business outcomes while managing scope, timeline, and budget
Manage project financials, including forecasting, margin performance, and resource planning to ensure profitability and long-term client value
Support business development activities, including proposal development, client presentations, and collaboration with channel partners and internal sales teams
Identify and expand client relationships, uncovering new opportunities for cross-sell and upsell across Spaulding Ridge’s portfolio
Coach and mentor consulting teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning
Contribute to practice development through thought leadership, internal training, and development of intellectual property and delivery standards
Collaborate with practice leadership to build a high-performing team and scale the Data Solutions business
Support client demos and proof-of-concept initiatives, helping clients evaluate and adopt modern data technologies
Drive best practices in project delivery, client engagement, and solution design to ensure consistent, high-impact outcomes
Approach problems creatively, applying technology and strategic thinking to solve complex business challenges
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in consulting, professional services, or a related field, with a focus on data, analytics, or digital transformation
Proven experience leading complex client programs with accountability for delivery, margin, and client satisfaction
Strong business development skills, with a track record of originating and closing new business through direct and partner channels
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, including consultants, architects, and sales professionals
Experience managing project financials, including forecasting, utilization, and margin optimization
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business value
Experience in change management and business process improvement is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Information Systems, Data Science)
Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed to support client engagements and team collaboration
