We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven EPC Sales Manager to manage, lead, and expand our presence with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) & consulting Engineers across North America. In addition, responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with OEM clients. Reporting to the Director of North America Project Sales, this role will focus on developing and nurturing relationships with EPC contractors, consulting engineering firms, and other project stakeholders, driving the sales of Valmet Flow Control products and related systems for large-scale projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities, managing complex project sales, and enhancing Valmet’s visibility and specification in key Metals and Mining markets. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within EPC accounts and project-based markets in North America. Build and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to capture EPC and project sales in growth markets such as mining, oil & gas, and heavy industry. Manage the entire sales process for large-scale VFD projects, from initial inquiry through to contract closure and project delivery. Provide technical consultation and product expertise to EPC contractors, consultants, OEM’s and End-Users. Develop a robust sales pipeline, and provide regular reports, project opportunities, and forecasting to senior management. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies relevant to OEM markets. Lead negotiation efforts with clients and EPC contractors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions. The ideal candidate will be responsible to lead large / complex Metals and Mining Global Projects in all aspects during the EPC Project Sales phase with the ultimate goal to grow the project business. To excel in the role: Identify the customer and key players and make sure that the contacts and communication lines are established Cooperate and interact closely with the local sales offices that are involved in the project, discuss and communicate with the local offices and associated channel partners to agree the project strategy and approach for the applicable local EPC / customer Work with the global project team to establish an overall strategy for the selected projects and implement accordingly Establish personal contacts with the EPC and end customer project decisions makers Identify and engage potential OEM clients through cold calling, networking, and industry events To succeed in this role, you will need: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred 5+ years of work experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment and sales process. Strong understanding of the Metals and Mining market and EPC business. Technical understanding of valve and automation products. Presentation and communication skills and strong understanding of MS office and CRM. Strong in networking and strategic skills Willingness to travel regularly to meet with key clients and colleagues and attend conferences. Overall travel expectation is at least 50% Locations: Remote - Toronto Ontario Canada, Vancouver British Columbia, Calgary Alberta, or other EPC metals and mining focused location.
