The MEP Manager provides leadership and expertise in M&E to the project teams.Key Functions & DutiesIdentifies opportunities for process and building system installation improvements (i.e. Value Engineering)Communicates and coordinates with the Owner, Consultants and Construction Team for clarification of project Scope of WorkAccountable for applications for water, gas and power utilities and obtains support from the Project Superintendents related to project specific loads for the related utility.Reviews complete set of Tender Documents for the Building System Trades alongside the Project team and provides support where needed in clarifying technical requirements.Reviews bid Levelling Sheets and partakes in Bid Levelling review meetings for Building System trades (i.e., Underslab Drainage, Mechanical, Sprinkler, Ventilation and Electrical, Elevator, Pool & Security packages), as needed.Review Recommendation Letter(s) to the OwnerEnsures accuracy of information within proposal documentsProvide support in Building System trade Project Kick-Off Meetings. (i.e., attend meetings as needed)Attends Site Meetings that contain a Building System component.Partake in Building System Meetings as MEP issues become prevalent.
