Job Description What is the opportunity? In this role, you will support the Insurance sales support brokerage team by coaching and leading Sales Support Representatives and Insides Sales Representatives delivering an exceptional and personal client experience. You will act as a subject matter expert for high impact to help achieve RBC’s strategic goal of being an innovative, client-focused provider of full suite of insurance solutions. You will also be accountable for ongoing coaching and development of staff, ensuring high level of employee capability and engagement through routines and the promotion of a collaborative team environment. You will inspire and empower our employees to achieve their full potential, demonstrating that best-in-class, easy access advice leads to the right solutions which will lead to strong business results. What will you do? Lead the sales support team in delivering high-end client experience and advice to our Insurance Advisors and stakeholders. Consistently execute leadership and coaching routines to enable high performance and build capability and support development of each team member through focused coaching which includes regular observation of client experience and targeted skill building to support the employee Coach team ensuring they can effectively meet client needs with a full range of RBC Insurance products, services, and digital solutions by building skills and knowledge to leverage tools and other materials to support advice and recommendations Set clear, ambitious goals and behavioral expectations for the team members based on business priorities. Support employees in prioritizing work, defining outcomes and how success will be measured Collaborate with other leaders within Insurance to deliver an outstanding employee experience Represent RBC Insurance by acting as an ambassador for the business Accept escalations for cases and situations that your team need help, guidance or management involvement on to get resolved What do you need to succeed? Must-have Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.
