Matrix Camps and Logistics is looking for a dynamic and experienced Recruitment Manager to lead our recruitment efforts across the organization. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Working with the Director of Human Resources, implement, operate and improve the Matrix talent acquisition process and steps, including Recruiting, Selection, and Brand Management, ensuring they are integrated and optimized.
Establish clear, efficient recruitment processes that position Matrix to meet current and especially future workforce needs.
Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) for recruitment efficiency and effectiveness.
Lead continuous improvement in talent attraction through detailed data measurement, analytical interpretation, and actionable insights.
Enhance the Matrix Employment Brand to improve the perception of Matrix within the talent market, addressing feedback and promoting positive employer attributes.
Collaborate with the Senior VP of Business Development so the Matrix brand integrates with its broader corporate brand.
Represent the company in a compelling way to attract talent and ensure alignment with our culture and values.
Proactively build and maintain a strong talent pipeline and pre-screened candidate pools, by sourcing candidates through various channels and cultivating a network of talent through ongoing dialogue.
Develop and manage a robust network of external partnerships with targeted talent pipelines.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with various organizations, communities and educational institutions to establish sustainable talent pipelines.
Oversee strategic partners providing talent attraction services, including contract external recruiters.
Manage internal succession planning, identifying and building on high-potential internal candidates.
Manage the Matrix Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other screening and background check processes.
Ensure all new hires have a positive onboarding experience.
Continuously analyze industry trends, competitor attraction strategies and candidate experiences, to ensure that Matrix delivers competitive and adaptable recruitment deliverables.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a Recruitment Manager or similar role, preferably in the mining, construction, or logistics sectors.
Must have a minimum of five years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on strategic sourcing and talent acquisition.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
Must have knowledge of best practices for creating a positive and streamlined candidate experience, from initial application to onboarding.
Must possess strong project management skills, to be able to manage and action, multiple recruitment initiatives simultaneously.
Must have a proven ability to collaborate with various internal departments, timely and accurately.
Must have the capacity to analyze data, interpret labour market trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize recruitment efforts.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a team of recruiters.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems and HR software.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Certifications such as CPHR or SHRM-CP are a strong asset.
Compensation: $90,000 – $120,000/year base salary plus an annual discretionary performance bonus.
Location: Osoyoos, BC (full-time, office-based)
Relocation: Relocation support available for the right candidate, including temporary staff accommodations in a staff house located right on Osoyoos Lake.
