The Role Department: Workplace Services Location: Canada Reports to: Senior Workplace Services Manager, North America Role: Workplace Services Manager, Canada The Team Reporting in the Senior Workplace Services Manager – North America, this person will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and ongoing management of various administrative functions and processes, facilities management, office operations, capacity planning, health and safety policy and procedures, and act as the organization's point person for outside vendors and service providers for their assigned Clyde and Co Offices in the region. This person will manage a team in the offices they oversee and will be responsible for coaching and mentoring the team as required, to ensure that they understand their roles and responsibilities and what is required of them to deliver a value for money facilities management service our offices. Travel between offices within the region will be necessary. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of workplace services, ensuring that all services are delivered efficiently and meet organizational standards. Manage and lead a team of onsite Workplace & Office coordinators and managers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to enhance service quality and employee development. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to workplace services, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices. Foster strong relationships with employees and stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Ensure all financial and budget processes and controls are managed and adhered to in line with firm policies and procedures To work closely with the procurement team with the procurement of bulk contracts and help drive contract negotiations to improve contractor relations and achieve best value Oversee and manage administrative assistants, create timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress to meet objectives. Manage relationships with service providers, including cleaning, maintenance contractors, mail and supply vendors. Ensure the firm receives high-quality and cost-effective service. Work closely with project teams to manage office sizing projects and capacity planning. Work closely with other departments to coordinate services and support organizational goals, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across teams. Participate in the recruitment and selection process for the team members Essential Skills & Experience University diploma in administration, management (which could be an equivalent combination of education and experience) Minimum of 4 years of experience in service management or a related role, with a strong understanding of workplace operations and customer service principles.
