Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? In this role, you will create and conduct training sessions for all levels (Introduction, Intermediate, Advanced) for the Client Operations team within Fund Accounting. You will be responsible for all forms of learning including how-to guides, training materials, assessments questions, and video recording. Act as Change Manager in projects such as new system implementation or system upgrade. This is a 1 year contract What will you do? Develop and deliver high quality, interactive programs ranging from technical software training to daily workflow processes Produces training schedules, classroom agenda and determines course content; Assess the need of training depending on new regulations, procedures or processes; Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications; Facilitate and help create learning and e-learning content, such as WebEx, videos, or other related material, as necessary. Design and Deliver training solutions for other “identified” Business Partner audiences within RBC objective being to grow knowledge in other roles Continuous review and update of existing “Academy” materials Demonstrates commitment to teamwork by developing and maintaining strong relationships with business partners and team members collaborating with colleagues across the organization Building and maintaining a network of external partners via professional associations and vendors in areas of expertise to support the development of learning solutions. Sharing best practices and remains current on emerging industry trends. Act/Influence as an informal coach Participate in new business initiatives as a project team member in “training advisory” role and resource What do you need to succeed? Must-have Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to offer clear and concise articulation of complex initiatives Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills; Interpersonal and networking skills with a proven track record of dealing with clients, management, colleagues and staff. Proven organizational and time management skills Good analytical skills Nice to have University or post-graduate degree with 5+ years experience in Fund Accounting/NAV Production Deep understanding of the Investor Services industry Demonstrates effective relationship management skills in working collaboratively with project teams comprised of internal and external learning colleagues, subject matter experts and business leaders; Deep understanding of the business strategies of the businesses they support; Thorough operational knowledge of NAV production business unit systems, processes, procedures, policies and operations What’s in it for you?
