We are hiring an Operations Manager to serve as the operational backbone of Convictional. You will help us execute on existing processes, create systems and processes to increase efficiency, and enable leadership to focus on growth and strategy. You will work closely with our CEO and Chief of Staff on operational initiatives, supporting the organization. As a founding member of the Convictional team, you will help us shape our processes from the ground up.
The role
As our Operations Manager, you will:
Provide Finance compliance and support
Support finance functions - assist with accounts payable/receivable, expense management, and financial reporting
Interface with accounting team - serve as primary liaison with external accounting partners
Security audit and compliance - coordinate annual audits across compliance procedures
Vendor relationship management - Manage relationships with key vendors to ensure smooth services and payments
Manage HR operations
Employee lifecycle management - Coordinate employee benefits, payroll, and onboarding/offboarding processes
Policy development and implementation - Maintain and update company policies, and ensure compliance across the org
Legal and Compliance
IT provisioning for the company - manage the company’s resources, access to key systems, physical technology management
Contracts and agreements - provide support to legal team for agreements with external partners, employee contracts, and vendors
Plan and execute company events
Onsite planning and logistics - Plan and execute team meetups and company-wide events (2-3 per year); handle travel coordination, bookings, and materials
Meetings and logistics - organize team wide meetings, coordinate the CEO’s calendar, and act as center point for scheduling
Cross-Functional Project Management
Go to Market support - support the GTM team through research, scheduling, and creating processes for sales and marketing workflows
R&D support - support the team’s R&D efforts through project planning, creating processes and workflows for feedback to the R&D team, and supporting user testing.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in fast-paced (startup) environments with a role in Corporate Operations, HR, or Accounting/Finance
Demonstrated systems thinking, with the ability to disambiguate workflows.
Strong problem solving skills, scrappy, get-it-done attitude, acts fast
Highly organized and focused - can handle lots of inputs from multiple sources, detail oriented, and can prioritize complex requirements.
Thrives in an asynchronous remote work environment. Comfortable communicating with long-form and written communication as default.
We have a technical product and technical team - experience working with technical stakeholders preferred
