Construction Superintendent
$30.00 - $38.00 per hour + overtime opportunities
Responsibilities include:
As the Construction Superintendent you are responsible for ensuring repairs and renovations to our customer’s property is completed on time, on budget and of superior quality.
Professionally represent the Paul Davis Values and Serving Basics
Meeting subtrades or staff on site to introduce the property owner, review work orders and scope accuracy and assist in job planning
Sourcing and managing quality sub trades capable of necessary job tasks
Manage in house construction staff.
Coordinating access with the property owner or representative.
Communicating any change orders or issues that arise with the Project Manager.
Regular updates of job status and scheduling to the Project Manager.
Ongoing, regular site visits to ensure tasks identified on the work orders are being completed timely and are of excellent quality.
Perform a final walk thru with the sub trade or staff member at the completion of the job identifying and completing any punch list items.
Perform a final walk thru with the property owner to celebrate the completion of the job and obtain customer sign off.
Follow established safety procedures.
Utilize company software and systems.
Qualifications:
Commitment to best in class customer service
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Strong time management and organization skills
Ability to develop and foster teamwork
Experience in construction, an asset
Must have a valid driver’s license
Preferred Experience/Education:
Red Seal or Journeyman certification
