More about the role This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Plant Specialist in Leamington, ON or Lower mainland, British Columbia with Signify. As Plant Specialist you advise greenhouse growers, with a focus on vegetable crops, on how to improve their growth process using Philips Horticulture LED solutions. You support the Account Managers and work closely with Application Engineers for best advice and implementation at the greenhouse. In collaboration with research institutes and growers, you develop and validate new light recipes. You are part of the global Plant Specialist team and have regular meetings with your colleagues around the globe to share experiences and exchange knowledge. Support sales with application knowledge to realize a commercial deal. Advice growers on implementation of LED and adapting to growing with LED through remote and on-site after-sales support. Contribute to developing new 'light recipes' and creating proof points through collaboration with team members and external knowledge institutes. Share knowledge externally with customers and partners, by means of customer visits, presentations and reports.
