Job Description What is the opportunity? As an integral member of the Canadian Compliance team, this role plays a crucial role in the successful adherence to RBC Compliance’s Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) program which includes adherence to key control standards (Issues Management, Regulatory Change, etc.) for Canada. The key purpose of this role is to support the following activities: Ensure consistent application of elements of the Regulatory Compliance Management Framework (RCMF) Execute key processes and oversight and governance related activities designed to reinforce adherence to the RCM Program and related Control Standards Effectively manage ongoing enhancements to the Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Program and implement best practices This role closely interacts with Enterprise Compliance, the Canadian Regulatory Change team and Compliance Oversight & Advisory Teams in Canada (Wealth Management, Capital Markets, Personal Banking, Commercial Banking, etc.) This role will be responsible to support the tracking, assessing and communicating of RCM requirements and the implementation of program changes, understand its impact to compliance stakeholders and help lead change management efforts. What will you do? Ensure RCM activities are recorded and documented in official books of record Support change related activities are assigned and ensure they are carried out by COATs Support regulatory change initiatives as needed and ensure applicability and impact assessments are complete and accurate Maintain KPIs and prepare internal management information reports for all RCM activities in Canada Work closely with RCM Enterprise Teams on key priorities and take part in mobilization plans Act as backup for team members What do you need to succeed? Undergraduate degree or equivalent 5 years of progressive experience in a Compliance, Legal and/or Risk Management role Strong organizational skills Proactive team player Ability to quickly adapt to changes while still achieving goals What’s in it for you?
