Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer on a permanent basis on our Major Projects team on-site in Regina, SK.
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Major Projects team and support the successful delivery of high-impact capital projects. This role provides the opportunity to lead electrical engineering activities from engineering and design through testing, commissioning and start-up while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve functional, safe and reliable results.
What you’ll do:
Lead power supply planning and evaluation for major capital projects to ensure long-term, reliable, and strategic electrical infrastructure solutions that support both project and refinery operational needs.
Provide technical leadership for all electrical engineering and design activities, including FEED, detailed engineering and design, development of design bases, specifications and standards, single-line diagrams, power system studies, hazardous area classifications, electrical simulation models, etc.
Cross-functional and regulatory activities, including P&ID and HAZOP/LOPA reviews, constructability assessments, SaskPower interconnection processes, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Procurement and vendor activities, such as technical bid evaluations, data sheet development, testing and inspection plans, review and participation in FATs, SATs, and integrated system testing.
Support construction, testing and commissioning, and startup phases, including planning, coordination, quality assurance, inspection hold-points, and turnover activities to ensure safe and timely project execution and delivery.
Champion reliability and risk-based asset management principles by incorporating maintainability, total cost of ownership considerations, and close collaboration with the Reliability Engineering team into project engineering, design, and handovers.

The Team: You will work closely with Project Managers, Area Leads, other Project Engineers, EPCMs, and other stakeholders while reporting to the Lead Engineer, Electrical.

You are looking for a career in Electrical Engineering and:
Have 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering and project work.
Have a bachelor’s in electrical engineering and a P.Eng. certificate with APEGS (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
