Confined Space Attendant/ Safety Watch
Prolium is the leader in above ground storage tank maintenance. When it comes to storage tanks, we do it all from minor repairs and modifications to major tank upgrades. Prolium is currently looking to fill the Safety Watch/Attendant position for our upcoming jobs across Canada.

Duties
Act as a Confined Space Attendant
Acquire and maintain adequate certifications as required
Work directly with supervisor
Ensure safety hazards and environmental risks are identified and controlled through Prolium's established programs and site-specific safety plans
Identify and assist with prioritizing site safety conditions and recommend solutions for continuous improvement
Complete site safety documentation daily
Directly assist the site personnel to implement and complete tasks by ensuring worker involvement in all activities such as hazard assessments, development of procedures, use of hazard ID cards, etc
Participate in pre-mobilization meetings to ensure field implementation of site-specific work plans
Attend and participate at joint contractor safety meetings
Ensure operations group maintains and retains project related safety records
Safety Certification Requirements (safety certification and training can be provided to successful applicants)
Site specific training provided H2S Alive or Awareness
Confined Space Entry and/or Rescue
CSTS 2020
WHMIS 2015
Standard First Aid
CSA Steel toed boots required. All other PPE is provided.
Classified Drivers License
Job Details and keys to success
Punctual attendance is a requirement
Successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Comply with all safety requirements
Must provide proof of completion of all required safety certifications
Bring a positive, ‘can-do’, ‘safety first’ attitude every day
Participate with the team to build and maintain a productive and safe work environment.
This is seasonal, project-based work. Project duration ranges from 1- 6 months. Prolium completes projects in all provinces and territories within Canada.
