Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Coordinate international shipments with customs, freight forwarders, logistics providers, couriers, and other external contacts. Maintain site compliance with global trade policies and requirements. Generate export documents, restricted and non-restricted articles paperwork on hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Schedule and expedite all air and truck shipments in a timely manner based on weekly shipping schedules and update actual ship information as required. Audit outgoing shipments for discrepancies and build packing slips to maintain traceability and records of items in each shipment and skid. Ensure maintenance of HTS commodity codes for all items and products in the NAV database as per global trade compliance policies and export requirements. Maintain documents, files, and records to document activities and provide reliable resource information. Operate forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, receive, and store goods as required. Support receiving processes and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or other documents, record discrepancies, and provide feedback to Purchasing. Route goods to appropriate storage areas. Monitor accurate inventory placement and labelling of warehouse systems, VLM carousel, and storage areas at all times and inform the warehouse coordinator of any issues. Contribute to yearly physical inventory processes and conduct inventory checks as required. Other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned by the Materials Manager. Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: 2-year college diploma with 3 years’ experience or equivalent relevant experience. Experience managing domestic and international inbound and outbound traffic across several transportation modes including ocean, truck, air, and LTL. Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse inventory management, and ERP systems. Experience in forklift (counterbalance) operation in a warehouse environment is a must. Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of logistics, customs, and warehouse processes. Knowledge of global trade compliance regulations and incoterms. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is considered an asset. Computer skills and knowledge of MS Excel (or equivalent) are required. Frequent walking, bending, and reaching required; frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication skills; listening, verbal, and written.
