North America Construction (1993) Ltd. (NAC) is currently seeking a Director of Information Technology to join our team on a part-time basis with a flexible schedule. This newly created role is ideal for a seasoned IT leader who is looking to transition into a reduced work week/seeking work life balance, while continuing to make a significant impact.
This role is critical to NAC’s continued growth and success. The Director of IT will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, planning, and execution of all information technology initiatives across the organization. The successful candidate will lead a talented and dedicated IT team, champion automation and modernization efforts, and ensure that NAC’s technology infrastructure effectively supports its business operations and long-term goals.

Key Responsibilies
Provide leadership and direction for the IT department, including team management, resource planning, and professional development.
Develop and implement strategic and tactical IT plans that align with corporate goals.
Oversee IT operations and ensure the stable performance of IT systems and infrastructure.
Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency, data security, and business continuity.
Coordinate and manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business priorities.
Act as a key liaison between IT, executive leadership, and operational teams to ensure alignment and communication.
Support and maintain core business applications while driving automation and innovation.
Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and cybersecurity regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably as Director or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing IT projects.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
A post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
