Position overview:
Location: Toronto, ON Travel: Occasional travel to other Sagard offices (within Canada and US) as required
We are seeking an IT Operations & Support professional to join our team in Toronto. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering IT operations and technical support across the Sagard ecosystem. You will work with all levels of the organization to ensure business-critical systems are highly available, resilient, and secure. You will be a core member of the IT Operations team, implementing new IT and cybersecurity capabilities and supporting projects.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support and address questions for all Sagard staff and offices, with a focus on the Toronto office.
Oversee and maintain on-premise hardware, devices, and workstations in the Toronto office, providing both remote and onsite assistance as needed.
Perform full lifecycle management of all hardware and software assets.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date IT asset inventory of software and hardware.
Administer cloud-based software systems (e.g., Google Workspace, Jumpcloud, Zoom, Freshservice, Slack), including updates, account provisioning, group configuration, and customization.
Manage technical onboarding and offboarding of employees (device setup, (de)provisioning, and training programs, both in-person and remotely).
Stay up to date on new IT developments through online research and courses.
Requirements
Minimum of one year of experience in an IT support or related role.
Postsecondary diploma or degree (or 2+ years of equivalent work experience).
Required to be onsite in the Toronto office up to 4 days per week, depending on business needs.
Occasional travel within Canada and the US as required.
Strong proficiency in English; French is an asset.
Flexibility to work outside standard business hours occasionally.
