Join our Fleet Operations team as a temporary Garage Serviceperson (Labourer) and play a pivotal role in maintaining our fleet to the highest standards. This opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, support-driven environment and possesses a keen interest in mechanical services.
What You Get to Do:
Support our Mechanical Services operations through general shop labour tasks.
Keep the shop equipment, inventory, and area clean and well-organized.
Assist our Mechanical Services Technicians and provide logistical support.
Handle the transportation of vehicles and parts pick-up.
Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections, perform maintenance, and minor repairs.
Ensure accurate completion of all necessary paperwork related to the job.
Embrace a variety of duties to support our dedicated ATCO team members.
What You Bring:
A High School Diploma or GED.
A valid Alberta Class “5” driver’s license; a Class 3 license with air brake endorsement is a plus.
Mechanical aptitude, proficiency with tools and equipment.
Previous experience in vehicle and equipment servicing in a shop environment is desirable.
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Operational Requirements:
Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and participate in shift schedules and emergency callouts.
This is a Safety-Sensitive position, subject to pre-employment Alcohol & Drug tests as per company policy.
