You will
GENERAL
Review monthly financial packages of allocated properties
Review year end CAM/Tax reconciliation
Work with auditors on year end audit or review engagements
Review financials report for partners
Supervise, coach and mentor 4 accountants while working cross functionally with property management, asset management, leasing, and finance
CASH MANAGEMENT
Review monthly/quarterly cash position of properties to ensure accurate reflection of forecasts
Review distributions and funding requests prepared by accountant
BUDGETS/FORECAST
Review annual property budgets.
Review quarterly forecast for properties
OTHER
Assist with property acquisition/disposition
Support financial systems improvement initiatives
Challenge existing processes to enhance efficiency and automation
Ad hoc projects as required
You have
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce, major in Accounting, or a diploma in accounting is required
A CPA (CGA, CMA or CA) designation is an asset
Experience with Yardi voyager is preferred
At least 2 years of supervisory experience
5+ years of accounting experience at senior level in property management accounting
Proven ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment with tight closing deadlines and meet internal and external reporting deliverables
A willingness to learn, great time management skills, and a high degree of energy and work ethic
Strong computer skills with competency in Excel, Word and Yardi
Exceptional interpersonal, Oral, and written communications skills

Pay range: $95,000 - $120,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
