Toyota Canada Inc. currently has an exciting opportunity to help our Eastern Canada Parts Distribution Centre (ECPDC). This is a permanent full-time opportunity and reports to the Planning Team Lead; while assisting the Operations Manager, Operations Leaders, Team Members, Operations Planning team, the National PDC Support Centre (NPSC) and Parts Supply (PS). The selected candidate acts as liaison between the PDC and Parts Supply to ensure stock integrity through oversight of inventory management activities including 3PL/OSS part moves, Quarterly Scraps and Cycle Counts. Additionally, the candidate will conduct detailed historical analysis of parts to assist with inventory adjustment requests. What We’ll Bring: Company & Culture A work environment built on teamwork, flexibility and respect Professional growth and development programs to help advance your career A focus on respect for people and continuous improvement Benefits Competitive compensation package including bonus Extended health care and dental benefits effective immediately Company pension plan with additional employer contributions Associate vehicle discount program Reimbursement programs (tuition & fitness) Paid holiday shutdown and competitive paid time off benefits Sabbatical leave program What You’ll be Doing: Parts Operations Support Physical Inventory and Unplanned Counts – 30% Schedule required labor with Operations Leaders and Management to complete Physical Inventory counts Oversee process to ensure accuracy and timeliness Investigation of system and actual on-hand variances by examining historical data Post all differences generated from counts Inventory Integrity – 70% Assist Parts Supply and NPSC with physical and logical on-hand investigation request Assist with investigation and analysis of parts discrepancies Reviews/compares inventory to assess part claim disposition Where required, perform historical examination to investigate system and actual on hand variances to maintain inventory integrity Assign Fixed Bins Review and investigate picking denials Serve as back-up during vacations and unplanned absences for the Operations Planning team, including the following roles: Technical Coordinator and PDC Coordinator What You Bring: University degree or College diploma in related discipline and/or equivalent work experience (1-year in parts operations) Intermediate computer literacy experience including – MS Office & MS Excel.
