Your role on our team:
As a Warranty Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for homeowners during their warranty period. You’ll coordinate service appointments, manage homeowner communication, and support the Warranty team in delivering timely, high-quality repairs. Your organization, responsiveness, and professionalism will be key in ensuring a smooth experience for both homeowners and trade partners.
In this role, you will:
Homeowner Communication & Support:
Respond to homeowner inquiries by phone and email, providing clear updates and information.
Maintain positive, professional interactions, even in high-pressure or escalated situations.
Coordinate homeowner touchpoints, including 7-day check-ins and Tarion-related timelines.
Manage updates in Home Hub and communicate with Tarion on escalated files.
Scheduling & Service Coordination:
Input and manage warranty items in NewStar; ensure accuracy of service records.
Schedule repair appointments with Service Technicians and trades for 30-day, year-end, two-year, and MSD inspections.
Follow up with trades to confirm attendance and track completion.
Rebook appointments and manage changes as needed to maintain service flow.
Operational Support:
Process technician schedules, work orders, and notes in NewStar.
Create and send purchase orders for billable work to trades.
Track aging service calls and send weekly reports to vendors.
Coordinate model home repairs and order materials as needed.
Maintain homeowner files and monitor completion timelines in line with Tarion standards.
We would like you to have:
High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in Construction, Home Building, or Administration is an asset.
5+ years of experience in customer service; residential construction experience preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Familiarity with NewStar and Tarion Warranty Guidelines is an asset.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Bilingualism is an asset.
