Overview
We’re looking for a seasoned OpenShift DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Automation team within CE&T as a Senior Consultant. In this strategic role, you’ll lead the design and deployment of Kubernetes/OpenShift solutions, champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, and build secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative infrastructure solutions that meet business objectives while adhering to enterprise standards and controls.
This is a hands-on technical leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in automation, containerization, and performance optimization—and is eager to collaborate across teams to drive innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities:
Infrastructure as Code Development
Design and develop Kubernetes/OpenShift deployment templates and operators
Automate deployment processes using tools like Ansible Operator
CI/CD Pipeline Configuration
Build and configure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Tekton
Ensure seamless integration and delivery workflows
Containerization and Security
Build and manage containers using Podman
Implement container security best practices including scanning, hardening, and SELinux configuration
Infrastructure Deployment and Automation
Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
Deliver repeatable, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions
Monitoring and Observability
Configure and manage OpenShift monitoring tools
Integrate with Splunk and Dynatrace to ensure system reliability and performance
Collaboration and Leadership
Partner with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business goals
Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure successful project delivery
Qualifications:
8+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments and operators
Experience with OpenShift templates, Tekton pipelines, and Ansible Operator
Proficiency in building containers using Podman and securing them with SELinux
Strong background in infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and make effective time allocation decisions
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Commitment to teamwork, accountability, and bringing your authentic self to work
High attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality outcomes
