The Role:
We're looking for a self-motivated, superstar Pharmacist to join the amazing Pocketpills team on a maternity leave contract.
Job Duties:
Provide virtual consultation including minor ailment assessments and answer medication-related questions through various mediums efficiently and courteously
Perform clinical verifications for prescriptions on time to ensure efficient operations
Conduct technical checks on medication orders in an efficient manner
Provide coaching and guidance to pharmacy team members to improve the pharmacy processes
Partner with pharmacy manager and Operations management to review processes regularly to ensure optimal efficiency, effectiveness and embrace continuous improvement
Review escalated issues for resolution. Interface with patients and team members as needed to resolve
Ensure compliance with applicable Federal and Provincial laws, rules and regulations
Do anything in your capacity to make sure that the patient is never out of medications.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
Registered part A pharmacist in good standing with the BC College of Pharmacists
Passion for providing optimal patient-centered care to all patients
Ability to achieve results with a strong sense of urgency and a "can-do" attitude.
Ability to learn and handle new software platforms.
Detailed oriented, team player and positive attitude.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
Ability to adapt to needs of business by assisting in different tasks in an efficient manner
Strong time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
Stellar verbal and written communication skills
Status: Part time - on a Maternity Leave Replacement Contract.
Availability: 2-3 days a Week. No Weekends.
The annual compensation for this part time maternity leave position is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and alignment to the market.
