Our Winnipeg Branch is seeking a FULL-TIME on site IT Manager

Position Summary:
The IT Manager will primarily be responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the organization's IT infrastructure and support systems, which includes coordinating and managing both internal and external IT resources, IT budgets, and verifying that the departmental initiatives align with the goals of the business. Ensure all IT systems including software and hardware are meeting the needs of the company and end users in both Canada and the US, which includes troubleshooting, recommendations on new solutions, testing and maintenance.
Qualifications:
An Associate Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
A minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing computers, printers and server hardware in a Windows environment
Good understanding of networking infrastructure
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent written or communication skills
Experience with Windows 7, 10 and 11 along with Windows server 2012 and higher, and Microsoft SQL Server
Ability to learn new software programs
Experience with SharePoint application, development Dynamics GP, Outlook/MS Office Exchange, VOIP, ERPs, Mitel phone system and FortiGate Firewall will be an asset
Positive attitude with a demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides excellent customer service through timely, reliable, and dependable technical support for users at branches and the corporate home office
Supports enterprise systems including legacy and new technology solutions
Performs system installs and upgrades as needed
Installation, configuration, documentation and maintenance of our Corporate Office IT infrastructure and networking infrastructure, including hardware, purchased software
Develop, test and maintain a Disaster Recovery strategy and implement associated requirements
Comfortable leveraging technology for most day-to-day functions
Manage relationships with technology service providers (vendors, stakeholders, consultants)
Support, develop and maintain technical documentation including system inventory
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, etc.)
Demonstrated understanding of contemporary IT infrastructure (SAN, hypervisors, etc.)
Analyzes metrics to evaluate IT system performance and recommend improvements
Maintains an electronic library of user guides and training materials
Provides administrative support and maintains in-depth knowledge of company policies and procedures
Assists project team in planning and implementation of special projects
Performs root cause analysis of complex system problems and provide corrective actions
Performs onboarding/offboarding services in CAN/US (employees telephone, workstations, devices, IT access’)
Create custom reports using SQL Reporting Services
Other duties as assigned
