What You’ll Be Doing: • Develop Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, and Standard Work Instructions for new and existing programs • Participate in APQP teams for new part programs • Source and specify new equipment using lean principles • Solve part quality issues and implement corrective/preventative actions • Lead capacity analysis and support production troubleshooting • Track and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) • Lead and participate in CI activities including SMED, VSM, 5S, and inventory management • Develop and implement cost-reduction and efficiency improvement projects • Ensure compliance with safety and design standards • Prepare and revise production operations manuals • Work in compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 standards What We’re Looking For: • Engineering degree or equivalent experience in mechanical/manufacturing disciplines • 3–5 years of experience in high-speed manufacturing (automotive preferred) • 2–3 years of experience with manufacturing/machining processes • Familiarity with mechanical/hydraulic pressing • Knowledge of ISO, QS, IATF standards and Lean Manufacturing • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills Bonus Points If You Have: • Powder Metallurgy Technologist (PMT) Certification Level 1 • Experience leading CI projects and using problem-solving techniques • Proven success in reducing scrap, tooling costs, and lead times How to Apply: Apply online at www.johnsonelectric.com – We can’t wait to meet you!
