At least 1 to 3 years of Hydraulic, Automotive or Heavy-Duty parts sales experience would be considered an asset. Excellent communication skills both written and spoken. Demonstrated people skills. Excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of products and services sold within our market. Must be customer service driven. Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Mechanical aptitude or skills are a definite asset. Here’s a typical day: Receive, process, and verify incoming orders and quotes for products and services (via e-mail, fax or in person). Responds to the customer's inquiries in a timely manner. Co-ordinate orders with Shipping Dept. Assist with displays and equipment by keeping shelves organized, stocked and clean. Takes necessary action to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner and follows-up and verifies commitments are met afterwards. Provides alternate products or solutions for out of stock or long lead time items. Responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Sourcing parts to fill order and customer requirements. Purchasing of parts and components for orders and stock items. Assist in maintaining computer pricing and updates from vendors.
