About the Role
The Senior Recruiter & Advisor assists with the development and management of the strategic, student recruitment, conversion and retention plans for the Faculty of Communication, Art and Technology (FCAT). The role provides academic advice to potential and current students in the Faculty and co-leads the development and coordination of faculty-wide recruitment, conversion and retention initiatives of domestic and international students. The role develops and conducts faculty-wide programs and materials to enhance and support student recruitment, enrolment and retention efforts. The role establishes and maintains close liaison with Student Services, Enrolment Management Council and other University groups to contribute to the improved coordination of University recruitment and retention efforts.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in relevant field with three years of related experience in post-secondary program administration, student advising, recruitment, conversion and retention, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Broad knowledge and excellent understanding of a range of undergraduate and graduate program business processes and procedures at the department/school and faculty level.
Good working knowledge of enterprise student information systems processes, rules, and practices.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, facilitation, training, presentation, interview, and communication (oral and written) skills.
Ability to build positive, productive relationships with diverse groups of people including academic leaders, managers, Faculty, staff, future students and other internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to make suitable travel arrangements to various work locations as this position requires travel to and from all three campuses and throughout the lower mainland.
Occasionally, travel across Canada or abroad may be required.
